  • 1st Prize:<\/strong> Christopher Reiners founded the association “Lern-Fair e.V.”, which has been offering free digital learning support for disadvantaged students since 2020, particularly for refugee children.<\/li>
  • 2nd Prize:<\/strong> Elisabeth Nierle grows fruit and vegetables in raised beds in the “B\u00fcchelGarten”. Through rainwater harvesting and automatic irrigation, the project reduces drinking water consumption by up to 70% and promotes sustainable action in cities. <\/li>
  • 2nd Prize: <\/strong>Contimi Kenfack founded the non-profit association “3 E\u2019s 4 Africa e.V.”, which supports African students and doctoral candidates, strengthens their empowerment, and focuses on environmentally friendly projects.<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr>

Five students (Greta Lutterb\u00fcse, Julia Segschneider; Klara Schuh, Sarah Sairung Klein, Tamiya Lorenz) from Hochschule Niederrhein, Department of Textile and Clothing Technology, for developing an innovative winter coat sleeping bag for homeless people<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

  • 1st prize:<\/strong> Film project ASYLAND by former pupils of the Stiftisches Humanistisches Gymnasium in M\u00f6nchengladbach, in which the participants shed light on aspects of current refugee issues from the refugees\u2019 own perspective.<\/li>
  • 2nd prize:<\/strong> Children\u2019s holiday programme of the Evangelical Reformed congregation in Gruiten for its programme of Christian religion-related events and introducing participants to later voluntary work<\/li>
  • 2nd prize:<\/strong> Pfadfinderschaft St. Georg from the Aachen Diocesan Association for the project “Instead of fleeing \u2013 arriving in nature” (helping refugees integrate through experiences in local nature)<\/li>
  • 2nd prize:<\/strong> Allgemeine Konzertorganisation Sonsbeck for musical events and benefit concerts, and for taking a stand against racism and fascism<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr>

  • Students of Hochschule Niederrhein for a project in Nepal to finance an orphanage, a school and a training centre<\/li>
  • Group of students for the project “Training for a new start” to integrate refugees by introducing them to club sports<\/li>
  • Young volunteers from the “Catholic Young Community” in Hardt for the project “Hardtbeat”, an open-air festival where young bands perform “free of charge and outdoors”<\/li>
  • Special prize for a course at the KBS Academy for health professions; the participants collected donations for a young boy to fund dolphin therapy for him<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr>

  • 30 students from the degree programmes in Cultural Education, Cultural Management, Social Work and Design at Hochschule Niederrhein for the project “Waldhaus 12 \u2013 research and implementation of social, artistic and cultural projects”<\/li>
  • Inda-Gymnasium Aachen for the project “UNESCO Project Group” to support the conservation-compliant cleaning of two cathedral chapels<\/li>
  • Eva Va\u00dfen for her project “Intercultural Breakfast”<\/li>
  • Supervisors of the M\u00f6nchengladbach girls\u2019 camps for their youth work with the aim of “encouraging self-initiative \u2013 creating opportunities where opportunities are unequal \u2013 bringing together what otherwise would not come together”; participants between 11 and 15 years old with very different life experiences, influences and social challenges<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/div>
